Warrior Tech NC

I developed the visual identity for Warrior Tech NC, the Triangle’s first Ninja Warrior training facility, helping introduce the local community to this emerging sport through a cohesive and energetic brand system. The goal was to create a professional, dynamic identity that resonated with both competitive athletes and families while establishing a strong visual presence within a rapidly growing athletic community.

The Challenge

  • Introducing a New Sport to the Community: The brand needed to help familiarize audiences with the concept of Ninja Warrior-style obstacle training while creating an approachable and welcoming identity for athletes of all ages and skill levels.

  • Creating a Distinct Visual Identity: The visual language needed to balance strength, movement, and competitive energy with a sense of inclusivity and community.

  • Extending the Brand Across Multiple Touchpoints: The identity system needed to function consistently across environmental graphics, competitions, merchandise, signage, apparel, social media, and promotional materials.

My Approach

  • Brand Identity Development: Designed the Warrior Tech NC logo and established the overall visual language for the brand using bold typography, industrial-inspired textures, energetic color palettes, and large-scale environmental graphics.

  • Environmental and Experiential Design: Developed interior graphics, signage, competition branding, and facility aesthetics that helped shape the overall atmosphere of the training space. Inspired by the supportive nature of the ninja community, I wanted the environment to feel motivating, approachable, and family-oriented.

  • Visual System Implementation: Applied the identity consistently across apparel, awards, medals, promotional materials, social graphics, competitions, and community events to create a cohesive and recognizable brand experience.

Final Presentation

  • The final identity system established Warrior Tech NC as a visually recognizable destination within the local ninja community while supporting both competitive athletics and family engagement.
